Who Leptir is
Leptir Ltd is a United Kingdom company established on 13 May 2026, building neurotechnology products. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Leptir Ltd is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Leptir Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 17216532, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.
What information is collected
If you use the contact form, Leptir collects the name, email address, enquiry type and message you provide. Nothing else is collected through the form. The website asks you not to submit health information, and health information is not requested at any point.
The website stores two items in your browser's local storage: your chosen colour theme and your cookie choice. These stay on your device and are not transmitted to Leptir.
Why it is collected and the lawful basis
Contact form information is used only to respond to your enquiry. The lawful basis is legitimate interests — specifically, responding to a person who has asked to be contacted. Where you ask to be told about a product release, the basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Analytics and cookies
At the time of writing, Leptir loads no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking scripts on this website. If privacy-conscious analytics are introduced later, they will not run before consent is given where consent is required. See the cookie information page.
Third-party services
Typefaces are served from Leptir's own domain, so your browser makes no request to a third-party font service. The website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, which processes standard server logs as part of delivering the site.
Retention
Enquiry correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, and is then deleted. Specific retention periods will be published once the company's internal schedule is finalised.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, Leptir will rely on an appropriate transfer mechanism recognised under UK data protection law.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability where it applies. To exercise any of these, email admin@leptirltd.com.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS and Leptir applies reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited information it holds. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how Leptir has handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling their helpline. Leptir would appreciate the chance to address it first.
